HISTORY OF FORDSBURG CLINIC

Fordsburg Clinic opened its doors during 1986 at the medical plaza, Commercial Road, Fordsburg.

At the time, a total of 20 doctors were associated with the Fordsburg Clinic, which was equipped with 2 operating theatres and the use of 15 beds. It served the needs of the people living in Fordsburg and surrounding areas.

Gradually, with the passage of time, more doctors becme associated with the Fordsburg Clinic and accordingly, more patients were refered. It continued to operate as such at the Medical Plaza until October 2003 when the Fordsburg Clinic relocated to its bigger and better premises in Selby Ext 19, Johannesburg.
